Frequently Asked Question

When I start the Start Stop Software I get "Object invoked has disconnected from the client" error...what does this mean?

The Object invoked error, typically is referring to not properly connecting to the Foot Pedal. When you purchase a new computer it comes with USB 3 driver technology. The Start Stop software is set top work with USB 2 driver technology and therefore can't connect through windows and the updated drivers. To resolve this issue:

1: Close the Start Stop system software

2: Open File Explorer (Local Hard Drive normally called C:)

3: Navigate to the following folders: Program Data >> HTH Engineering >> Start Stop system >> Bin folders.

Note: If you can't find the Program Data folder that means it is hidden. To unhide this folder, got to the VIEW tab at the top of the File Explorer window and check "Hidden Items."

Note: If you can't find the HTH Engineering folder you may have a older version of the Start Stop Software. You will need a upgrade.

4: In the BIN folder find and open the VirginConfigFile3.0 folder.

5. Copy Omni Pedal file and go back into the BIN folder.

6: Paste the file into the BIN folder, you will be asked to Replace file, select ok.

Opening the Start Stop software and your issue should be resolved.
