Norton Issue July 9, 2015, “AMP3dj.OCX” missing or invalid

Yesterday, July 9, 2015 Norton antivirus and Symantec 360 antivirus performed nightly update.
This update created a "false positive" on an audio component used in Start-Stop Universal and Start Stop OmniVersal software.
Symptom/Message:
“Component ‘amp3dj.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Solution:
Patch for Component error: “AMP3dj.OCX” missing or invalid
For StartStop Universal and StartStop Omniversal
  1. Disable Norton: Locate the Norton Antivirus icon in the notifications area next to the system clock. Click the arrow next to the notification area if the Norton Antivirus icon isn't visible. Right-click the Norton icon. A new pop-up menu with a variety of security settings opens. Click "Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect." If prompted, specify the amount of time you want to disable the security program.
  2. Run this Patch. www.hth-files.com/software/files/AudioPatch/Audio_Patch.exe
    This patch updates the audio components that were flagged by Norton as a false positive.
  3. Reboot your computer
  4. Launch the StartStop Universal or StartStop Omniversal software again.
  5. Re-enable your Norton Antivirus
Test your StartStop product again

Users with StartStop Universal version 12.0.11 or StartStop Omniversal 2.0.17
or higher wont encounter this error.
